There are two Sunday morning services at St Mary's. There is also an ecumenical service in the evening at the Baptist chapel on Compston Road

Usually 35 minutes long.
Common Worship style Holy Communion with mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
Every first, third, fourth and fifth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
The fifth Sunday Holy Communion service is a joint Anglican, Methodist and Baptist service.
Service of the Word
Every second Sunday for 1 hour. Has a mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
Includes This Time Tomorrow where we celebrate our Christian lives Monday to Saturday. Second Sunday Songsters lead the singing.
Week Day Services
There is a Holy Communion Service each Wednesday.
On the fourth Wednesday of the month there is also a Holy Communion service at Millans Court at 11am
Informal Communion Service without music, usually in the Wordsworth chapel within St Mary's for 30 minutes. A small but very welcoming congregation.
Every Monday afternoon during term time.
This is an informal family service, including modern worship songs, story, activities and games and time to chat.
The children (and adults) can choose toast or crumpets for a snack, along with squash or tea and coffee.
We have a variety of services from Palm Sunday, through Holy Week to Easter Sunday
This is a Holy Communion Service with a dramatised reading of the last week of Jesus' life.
This is a re-enactment of the Passover Meal Jesus had with his disciples the night before he died. It will include symbolic elements, bitter herbs, roasted eggs etc and cooked lamb...if you want to know more contact Rev. Beverley Lock.

It will be held in the Wesley room at Ambleside Parish Centre.
Ecumenical service in the centre of Ambleside
The ecumenical service begins at 11am outside St Mary's church.
If you wish you can join the Good Friday Walk of Witness beforehand. The walk will start in Langdale – meet outside High Close Youth Hostel (main entrance) at 9am to walk with a cross (via Loughrigg Terrace) to Ambleside. Then meet others outside St Mary’s Church at 11am for a procession through Ambleside.

A quiet service with time to reflect on the last week of Jesus' life and the events leading up to Easter
Easter Sunday Holy Communion Service
This will be a service for all the family.
Easter egg hunt for the children after the service.
